Making healthy choices isn’t always easy.
I quit smoking 4 months ago by replacing my cigars with little tangerines. If I wanted a smoke I got up and got a tangerine. This is a win-win for me, quit smoking get that boost of energy and lots of vitamin C. How could I go wrong?
I found out my smoking replacement is almost as bad as smoking. I have gone through these little tangerines about 1.5 lbs a day. In this morning readings I found out that oranges, and the like, are bad for people over 30 but extremely bad for 50+ year olds.
Why, Oh Guru of knowledge, are they bad? you ask. There is so much natural sugars in them that our bodies can’t process it all at once. So it sends the excess over to the fat factory. There it is in one sentence it can not get much simpler than that.
That tomato you love on your salad falls into the same health trap. The natural carbs are killing us. I will never give up my tomatoes, instead I will cut down the half a tomato per salad to 1 tomato a week.
It sucks when you try to make healthy choices and still end up killing yourself.
